Here are your announcements for this week at First Lutheran:
¨ GETTING READY FOR RAINFOREST FALLS!
VBS is set for July 13 -16 5:30—8:00 pm. We have 31 children registered already! Visit our Registration Center to sign your kids up and to volunteer. It’s time to get excited for sharing the love of God with children of all ages! We are looking for adults to be Crew Leaders! You will lead a group of 5 children through the evening, having lots of fun sharing Jesus’ love in a powerful way!
¨ VBS PRAYER TEAM!
God answers prayer! Come and join us for 5 minutes following each worship service to pray for God to work in everything connected to our VBS. Look for the “Prayer Team” sign. Join us this weekend!
¨ GOD’S CLOSET!
Continuing in June, we are re-stocking our food pantry. The following items are in short supply: canned chicken, cereal, corn, green beans, peanut butter, canned fruit, and crackers. Bring food items for God’s Closet to the church office. Thanks!
¨ BIBLE BOOT CAMP:
Students are invited each Wednesday, June 10, 11 am—1:30 pm. Pastor Anthony is leading a weekly youth class on basic knowledge of the Bible. If your child would like to attend, or if you would like to help in this ministry, contact Pastor Anthony! CHANGES TO FLC’S ONLINE GIVING PLATFORM: Beginning July 1, 2026 we will no longer be utilizing our previous giving platform for online giving. We are changing to
Subsplash Giving which integrates with our new First Lutheran Church website and app.
For anyone who is currently signed up for recurring donation on the old giving platform,
we will be happy sto assist you in the transfer process to Subsplash. Feel free to contact
Katrina Watkins, Nancy Slay or Peggy Brockett with any questions or for assistance.
¨ OFFICE VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:
Do you have a little extra time this summer? We have office tasks that need an extra set of hands and we’d love your help! Whether you can serve for an hour, or on a regular basis, your time and talents can make a big difference! Contact Katrina Watkins for more information.
